Tharanee Nakandala is a Senior Program Assistant at the Centre for Equitable Systems Design (CESD), where she provides comprehensive support to learners and instructors. She assists with course selection, student records, and resolving inquiries, while also managing instructor contracts and onboarding. Tharanee oversees program logistics, marketing efforts, and financial administration to ensure seamless program operations.Tharanee’s background includes experience in international relations and certifications in Intercultural Development and Suicide Prevention. She is committed to fostering inclusive environments and contributing meaningfully to UBC’s academic and community-focused objectives.

Prateek is a member of the UBC Extended Learning digital marketing team. He is responsible for creating and implementing paid and organic digital marketing campaigns and strategies for a wide range of ExL programs. In his role, Prateek takes on a data-driven approach to create strategies to enhance campaigns while exploring innovative approaches to maximize the reach and impact of programs he is managing.With five years of experience in PPC campaigns and paid media strategies across various industries, Prateek’s goal is to optimize digital marketing efforts to drive enrollment growth and engagement at UBC ExL.
