French conversation

French is an important language used in government, business, international development and diplomacy. Being able to communicate effectively in French can enrich your travels, help you appreciate new cultures and their stories, deepen family relationships and advance your career. 

Our interactive courses are taught by passionate, experienced instructors in a welcoming and immersive environment conducive to learning. Through speaking and interacting with your classmates in authentic and realistic scenarios, you can quickly build confidence, improve fluency and put your learning into practice in your personal or professional life.  

Offered at a range of levels, our courses may be taken individually or combined with other French courses, including french reading and writing options, to complete a credential. Meet Annick, UBC Extended Learning French instructor

Annick has been teaching languages for over 10 years. She is passionate about helping students become autonomous so they can go out and use French and make it their own.
