UBC President Bursary

The UBC President Bursary program was set up to support grade 11 high school students in British Columbia to attend UBC Future Global Leaders.

Bursaries for BC Teachers

BC Teachers may apply for a bursary for the full tuition amount for Summer Intensives in French. Funding is provided by the Government of Canada and administered by UBC Extended Learning for the French Education Branch of the BC Ministry of Education.

StrongerBC future skills grant

The StrongerBC future skills grant (FSG), is open to most British Columbian residents aged 19 years or older – regardless of financial need – and covers up to $3,500 in eligible short-term skills training at public post-secondary institutions.

BC Employer Training Grant

The BC Employer Training Grant provides funding to small, medium and large enterprises to support skills training for their workforces, including prospective new hires. Employers can receive up to $300,000 per year for skills training (up to $10,000 per employee) to cover 80% of the cost of training.

BC Pacific Leaders Scholarship for Public Servants

Up to $5,000 is available to BC government employees through this scholarship program for professional development programs that align with the BC Public Service’s current and future needs.

Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants

The Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants program supports permanent residents in returning to their pre-landing professions by covering the cost of approved courses for credential recognition, bridging and skills enhancement. Student loans

Student loans are limited to students enrolling in and attending a recognized full-time post-secondary level program leading to a formal credential (bachelor’s, master’s, etc.). Part-time programs, due to their duration and course load, are not eligible for student loans at this time.
