    This course is part of the UBC Future Global Leaders on-campus program for high school students ages 15-18. Combines morning classes and afternoon pre-university workshops. This course introduces you to the Biomedical Sciences, covering a wide range of topics from large-scale production of biopharmaceuticals (e.g., insulin), 3D bioprinting of human tissues (e.g., trachea and lab-/organ-on-a-chip models for drug screening), and cutting-edge applications such as CRISPR and stem cell engineering.

    Course

    This course is part of the UBC Future Global Leaders On-Campus program for high school students ages 15 -18. Step into the future of healthcare with FutureMed Academy, a two-week summer program for Grades 10–12 students curious about medicine and technology. This immersive experience combines foundational learning with hands-on activities to show how artificial intelligence is transforming patient care.
