Equity, Inclusion and Intercultural Leadership for Coaches

Program

  • Online
  • $2,335

Coaches work with clients whose experiences are shaped by culture, identity, and organizational context.

Working effectively across differences requires the ability to recognize bias, understand intersecting identities and consider how broader systems influence coaching relationships, workplace experiences and opportunities.

Equity, Inclusion and Intercultural Leadership for Coaches program brings together three online courses: Countering Biases and Microaggressions (15 CCEU), Understanding Intersectionality and Identity (15 CCEU), and Leadership in Intercultural Contexts (40 CCEU). The courses are accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for a combined 70 Continuing Coach Education (CCEU) credits.

All three courses included in this program can also be applied to the UBC Certificate in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and UBC Micro-certificate in Anti-Racism. In addition, Leadership in Intercultural Contexts can be applied to the UBC Certificate in Intercultural Studies and the UBC Micro-certificate in Diversity and Inclusion.

Through reflective and applied learning, participants examine their positionality and strengthen their capacity to address bias, apply intersectional analysis, and coach and lead across cultures and contexts. The program offers practical approaches for building trust, navigating complexity and supporting accountable change with individuals, teams and organizations.
