- an email account
- a computer, or laptop or a tablet
- the latest version of a web browser (or previous major version release)
- a reliable internet connection
- a video camera and microphone.
The program consists of two online courses of four weeks each. Combined, the courses take approximately 55 hours to complete.
Cloud Transformation Strategy. Gain knowledge to inform the planning and implementation of your cloud technology infrastructure strategy. Focus on critical decisions that will profoundly impact many aspects of the overall business, such as financial cost, ability to scale, information security, availability of the right technical expertise, risk management, compliance and regulatory implications. These decisions provide the backbone for what your organization will be able to accomplish, and set the stage for business transformation.
Cloud Technology Infrastructure Strategy. Understand core concepts around cloud versus on-site technologies, focusing on servers, networks, storage and application patterns. Learn how to create a secure operating environment for your organization, and know what you need to consider when choosing and deploying cloud technology infrastructure. Gain strategies to bridge the needs of product and technical stakeholders in your organization.
You can take courses on their own. However, to earn your micro-certificate and gain the most value from the program, we recommend taking both courses in succession as they complement one another.
How am I Assessed?
You’re assessed on successfully completing weekly activities, including your contributions to discussion posts and applied case study projects (based on real-life scenarios). These are marked on a matrix using a scoring guide, and your instructor provides you informal feedback in the live sessions.
While you’re not assessed on your attendance of the live sessions, we encourage you to attend these classes so you don’t miss the opportunity to learn and interact with your instructor and other participants. All sessions are recorded in case you miss one.
Our program instructors and developers are experts with extensive industry and adult education experience.
