The UBC Micro-certificate in Natural Language Processing to Improve Patient Care is a unique program designed to equip healthcare providers, researchers and administrators with the expertise needed to leverage NLP tools effectively. Developed by the UBC Department of Medicine and the UBC Data Science Institute, in partnership with BC’s regional health authorities, the program curriculum delivers AI-driven data skills relevant to the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.

In this information session, get an overview of the program, the curriculum, learning outcomes and what to expect. Meet program instructors to learn about how you can apply your learning to improve patient care and decision-making. There will be plenty of time for your questions!
