Are you interested in exploring kinesiology from an academic and career perspective? Then this mini school is definitely for you. It is offered by the UBC School of Kinesiology, ranked first in North America and fourth globally in the 2026 QS World University Rankings.
With the School’s brand new home in the MacIsaac Health Building, you get exclusive access to labs and the latest research, with hands-on learning opportunities that allow you to gain practical experience with exercise testing equipment as you explore key body systems, how they work together to support anaerobic and aerobic exercise across the lifespan, and with an introduction to overcoming physical and health-related challenges. Emphasis is placed on an interdisciplinary approach, exploring how physiological, bio-mechanical and sport science principles intersect to enhance health and performance.
Instructors from the School of Kinesiology aim to make this mini school engaging and dynamic, with a focus on introducing you to the field in a fun and interactive setting. You also have the opportunity to meet with academic advisors and current students to learn about the Bachelor of Kinesiology program and life as a kinesiology student.
