In this mini school offered by the UBC Department of Psychology, we explore morality through a psychological lens, diving deep into how morality develops from babies to adults, how values differ across people, how different cultures construct moral norms, how psychopaths differ in their moral impulses, and other topics. Combines morning classes and afternoon pre-university workshops. This course introduces you to the Biomedical Sciences, covering a wide range of topics from large-scale production of biopharmaceuticals (e.g., insulin), 3D bioprinting of human tissues (e.g., trachea and lab-/organ-on-a-chip models for drug screening), and cutting-edge applications such as CRISPR and stem cell engineering.
