To take a course with Extended Learning, whether online or in-person, you’ll need:
- an email account
- a computer, laptop or tablet
- the latest version of a web browser (or previous major version release)
- a reliable internet connection
- the technology to watch videos, listen to audio and read or download PDF files (for some but not all courses).
Online courses that include real-time classes, live lectures or virtual office hours have additional computer and system requirements that might include:
- a video camera
- a microphone.
Computer and browser requirements by Learning Management System
Many of our courses are hosted on a learning management system (LMS). Before your course begins, we'll email you instructions on accessing your course, and information specific to the LMS, such as setting up an account if one is required.
