Explore the human anatomy firsthand in an immersive journey that incorporates cutting-edge virtual 3D anatomy tools created by the team at the Hackspace for Innovation and Visualization in Education (HIVE). This course is designed to help you understand the human body and build a rich vocabulary that you can confidently use. Collaborate with fellow students on group projects that challenge and inspire you: from solving case studies to creating your own anatomical masterpieces.
This course is ideal if you’re interested in any health care program or profession, including medicine, nursing, physical therapy, and kinesiology.
LEENA ALKHAMMASH, MSc, is an anatomist and a PhD candidate in the Interdisciplinary Studies Graduate Program at UBC. She boasts nearly a decade of experience in anatomy education spanning multiple countries across the world. As a recipient of the UBC Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award, Leena is passionate about creating interactive and engaging teaching environments for students.
