You can register for our courses online, by telephone or in person. If a course isn’t full, you can register on the day the course begins, however, we don’t recommend registering any later than the course start date. If you wish to register after a course has started, please contact us.
Some programs require you to apply and be accepted into the program before you register for courses. You don’t need to create an account to apply to a program. Please review the program details for more information.

What happens after I register for a course?
After processing your registration, we send you a printable confirmation receipt by email. If you do not receive your receipt by the start date of your course or program, please contact us.
If you’re taking an online course, we also send you an email with instructions on how to access and log in to your course on or before the course start date. We recommend logging in prior to the first session to become familiar with the learning application.
We are sometimes forced to cancel courses due to insufficient enrolment or other reasons. If this happens, we offer a full refund and send it to you automatically.
Should you require disability-related accommodations for your course, please contact us six weeks before the course start date, or as early as possible. UBC Extended Learning works to create an inclusive learning environment in which all students can achieve success. Any student with diverse needs requiring additional services or support beyond which we can provide, please contact the UBC Centre for Accessibility office.
If you need help with registration, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
