Extended Reality (XR)

Extended Reality (XR)

XR, also known as extended reality or cross reality, is an umbrella term for augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR). XR technology is used in applications that include education, gaming, retail, medicine, engineering and design. AR/VR/XR software engineers and developers are in high demand, and job growth is high.

We’ve partnered with Circuit Stream, an industry leader in XR education, to offer two online project-based XR courses:

XR Development in Unity – Create your own VR or AR idea in Unity, and learn how to design for different XR platforms. Build a portfolio of projects, and earn a XR Developer certification. Be ready to write the Unity Associate Programmer exam.

Interaction Design & Prototyping for XR – Understand how to design intuitive and human-centered AR/VR/XR experiences, and learn best practices and patterns of design for immersive environments and XR applications. Earn an AR/VR Designer certification.

Both courses are 10 weeks, and feature live online classes, daily office hours, hands-on assignments, opportunities to network and lifetime access to resources.
