International Graduate Study Preparation Program (IGSPP) Credit Stream


Develop the essential skills you need to pursue graduate study in a Canadian or American university. Establish an academic plan and research graduate programs best suited to your individual interests and background. Gain critical thinking and communication skills to help you succeed in any academic or professional program.

  • Next intake begins September 2017
  • Non-cohort, full-time, 16-week program
  • Includes both credit courses at UBC and a non-credit, online course in your specific academic discipline (e.g., accounting, engineering, science; etc.)
  • Enroll in UBC credit courses (the same that are open to the public) that allow you to study alongside Canadian and other international students to model the individual work required in graduate studies
