Experience University Life (EUL) – Summer is a pre-university program that provides international and Canadian middle and high school students an immersive educational, social, and cultural experience at one of Canada’s most beautiful university campuses.

EUL Summer is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for middle and high school students ages 12-18 to improve their English language skills while experiencing a new country in a multicultural university setting. Students are provided with high quality English instruction, and are given the opportunity to explore their interests, expand their worldview, and foster new friendships.

    • Three themed English language courses: Critical Thinking and Global Citizenship, Global Leadership and Sustainability, and Ecology and Economics
    • Three English as a second language courses focused on listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Courses can be combined to form a four-week program
  • Hosted by UBC's English Language Institute (ELI) and taught by experienced UBC instructors
  • Classes made up of a global group of like-minded students
  • Option to stay in a UBC student residence during program
