Deepen your practice and gain proficiency applying your skills with your clients. Start with a brief theoretical overview, then focus on building your skills using cases. Develop confidence in your ability to mine for existing strengths and resilience, and expand your repertoire of useful questions and interventions.
Come away with a deeper sense of the values underpinning this model, have greater confidence when approaching clients in terms of how to ask questions, mine for resources and strengths, and stay hopeful with difficult cases. Develop a clear framework with which to approach conversations with clients, in terms of goal setting and ways to support clients to move as quickly as possible towards their stated goals.
Come prepared with your cases (protecting client confidentiality), and questions with which you are stuck.
