Plain Language Writing

Plain language is about tailoring your documents to their audience. Sounds simple, yet too often key messages get buried by weak organization, wordiness, jargon, and poor page design. Remove these barriers from your own and others’ writing by learning how to analyze your readers’ needs and plan documents around them. Practise seven techniques for plain language writing, understand how page design affects comprehension, and learn how to evaluate the readability of your documents.
