Japanese Beginner 1

If you have little or no previous knowledge of Japanese, this is the right level for you. Learn to share information about yourself and ask basic questions of those around you. You learn structure and vocabulary that allow you to function in everyday settings such as introducing yourself, discussing your family and your likes and dislikes. You begin to understand complex language structures in an immersion classroom setting while learning to speak primarily in the present tense. Native-speaking instructors provide you with insight into the culture, traditions and etiquette of Japan. The Japanese writing system of hiragana is introduced at this level.
