Introduction to International Health and Development

Examine problems relevant to international health care management. Identify the basic concepts of international health and apply problem-solving skills to issues at hand. Topics include intercultural issues, determinants of population health, primary health care strategies, and poverty and malnutrition from an international health perspective.

This course can be applied to the UBC Certificate in International Development.

Course Format

The format of this course is 100% online. One week prior to the start of the course, an email will be sent to all registered students containing instructions on how to access the online Learning Management System.
