This is the third in a series of workshops on Court Interpreting.
Please note that with the exception of the first session, this workshop series is targeted toward interpreters fluent in English and Chinese.
Start this series with a non-language specific session designed to enhance your skills in performing consecutive interpreting (CI) tasks in court.
Continue with two workshops that give you hands-on experience interpreting consecutively for participants in civil and criminal court proceedings. Complete the series with a practice certification exam.
This workshop is a must for those who plan to get into court interpreting, and a refresher for exam takers who have already received training in legal translation and interpreting.
These sessions are designed to be taken in sequence, however you can register for individual workshops. Complete four sessions successfully and receive a Court Interpreting: Consecutive Interpreting letter of completion.
