ZACHARY ROTHMAN has been writing, producing, directing and collaborating on immersive, interactive, volumetric and narrative projects since the late 1990s. His work spans online media, film, television, documentaries, and promotional and educational material.
For the past 10 years, Zac has served as the senior producer and creative lead for the EdTech team at UBC Faculty of Medicine, where he produces digital media to help people teach things to other people. He enjoys the unique creative collaboration between subject matter experts, audience and storytellers, and thrives on the constant discovery of form following function.
Zac has won awards for his work from the National Film Board of Canada, Crazy8s Film Society, Winnipeg Film Group, Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Foundation of British Columbia and MEDEA. He recently received a Muse Platinum Award for his work on Vision, a film for UBC.
