Roxanne is the Founder of Join Canada, a successful immigration services firm that also provides a wide range of services to employers and individuals worldwide. A graduate of the University of British Columbia, she is a member in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
Prior to becoming an Immigration Consultant, Roxanne was Managing Partner of a niche oriented, hospitality executive search and recruitment firm for 10 years. From 1993 to 2001, Roxanne worked with the Legal Services Society of British Columbia in various areas of law, including Immigration, Criminal and Family law. She held various positions, from Intake Legal Assistant where she interviewed and assessed eligibility of clients for legal aid, to Supervisor/Senior Investigator and Analyst of the Audit and Investigation department.
Her areas of immigration practice are focused in the family and economic classes, specifically Family Sponsorships, IAD Appeals, Provincial Nominees, the Canada Experience Class and the Temporary Foreign Worker program. She also provides employers with advice and representation for the preparation and submission of Labour Market Impact Assessments to Service Canada.
Roxanne held the position of Director of Education for the BC Chapter of the Canadian Association of Profession Immigration Consultants from 2011 to 2012. She is one of the founders of IMEDA – Immigration Education Alliance and served as its Marketing Manager from 2012 to 2013. She is a volunteer with ICCRC, serving on the Practice Management Education Committee. She has also presented various Continuing Professional Development seminars on behalf of CAPIC and IMEDA.
