Mila Aberten is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) practicing immigration law in Abbotsford, BC since 2009. Mila immigrated to Canada in 2007 from Ukraine. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching and holds an honours diploma in foreign languages. Mila is fluent in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and she is a beginner in French.
After graduating from the University of British Columbia's UBC Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures Program in 2009, she joined an established immigration law company in Abbotsford, BC. In 2011, she has started her own immigration consulting practice Immigration Counsels of Canada (ICC). Being a lead consultant at the firm, Mila represents clients before Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in temporary residence (visitors, international students and foreign workers) and permanent residence (economic, family and H&C class) applications.
Mila is a full member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC), former member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) and an associate member of the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia (STIBC). In addition to her role as an RCIC, she acts as a Commissioner of Oaths in and for the province of British Columbia.
