Marty Baram is the Director of SYMY Immigration Consultants and Recruitment. SYMY was established in 2008 primarily as a recruitment agency to fill labor shortages and to match talented foreign workers with suitable Canadian employers. He successfully placed hundreds of foreign nationals as temporary workers and Permanent Residents in Canada. Marty is very well versed with the Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) application process and is regarded as an expert in the field. In addition to his role as a Senior Immigration Consultant and Director at SYMY, Marty is an Instructor of Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures at the University of British Columbia (UBC), a member of the Practice Experience Program (P.E.P.) Advisory Committee at the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC), is a candidate for the position of a member of the Board of Directors at the ICCRC in the upcoming ICCRC General Elections and travels extensively speaking with groups worldwide about various Canadian Immigration topics.
His areas of expertise are: International Recruitment, Labor Market Impact Assessments, Francophone Mobility, Permanent Residence applications- specifically Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs. Marty received his Immigration Consulting Diploma from Humber College where he graduated with honors.
