Keith E. Marshall, Bed, MSW, MPA, has more than 30 years’ experience working with First Nations communities. He has held senior health, managerial and administrative positions in federal, provincial and private organizations, and has been responsible for negotiating major contracts, facilitation and mediation, organizational and planning requirements, clinical case management, and policy development, interpretation and implementation.
As the director of community health programs for the Heiltsuk Health Centre Society, Keith oversees programs that service a population of approximately 1,400 people in the Bella Bella community. He leads programs that support Centre for Disease Control initiatives, chronic disease education, community wellness and mental health.
Keith is originally from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, and is of African-Canadian/Caribbean descent. He is the vice president on the board of the First Nations Health Directors Association.
