Joe Kenney

Joe Kenney, a member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC), is the principal of J. Kenney Consulting Ltd., which has been operating since 2005. Joe previously served as the Director of Economic Immigration Programs for the Government of British Columbia and the Program Manager of the BC Provincial Nominee Program. Before joining the BC government, Joe worked for many years as an immigration consultant with two different firms. Joe is also a former Immigration Examining Officer with Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto, where he graduated with High Distinction, and a Master of Arts (Political Science) from McGill University. He is also a graduate of the UBC/Seneca College Immigration Practitioner Certificate Program and the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA)/Deakin University Immigration Law for Migration Agents course. In 2006-07, Joe served on the CSIC Board as a Consultant Director. He is a former Director at Large of CAPIC and the former National Vice President of the Association of Immigration Counsel of Canada (AICC).
