Chris graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2001, and subsequently practiced civil litigation in Atlanta, Georgia. Chris relocated to Vancouver in 2006, and soon afterwards began working at the Legal Services Society. It was there he began developing an interest in Canadian immigration and refugee law. Chris was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2012. Since then Chris has continued to work at the Legal Services Society as a contract lawyer, and he also maintains his own law practice. Chris’ practice focuses exclusively on immigration and refugee law matters. He appears before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board, and the Federal Court of Canada. Chris hold dual Canadian and American citizenship.
