Bronwyn Jenkins

Bronwyn Jenkins is the Dean of International Education at Malaspina University-College on Vancouver Island. She has worked in the International Education field as a teacher and as an administrator since 1986. Bronwyn holds a Masters Degree in Education focusing on Quality Assurance and International Education. In 2001, Malaspina University-College was the first Canadian institution to undergo the International Quality Review Process (IQRP), an internationally developed instrument designed to assist institutions of higher learning to assess and enhance the quality of their international programs, systems and achievements, according to their strategic aims and objectives.In her current position, Bronwyn is responsible for an ESL program of over 500 international students. International students also attend Malaspina for High School, undergraduate and MBA programs for a total of over 1500 international students each year. Bronwyn is also responsible for supporting an internationalized teaching and learning environment at Malaspina University-College that provides Canadian students, faculty, administrative and support staff with opportunities for international experiences, including curriculum, socio-cultural activities, study abroad, work experience, research and other collaborative projects with foreign institutions and individuals.
