Intercultural Communication, Diversity and Inclusion Programs
Arzeena Hamir, MSc, is an agronomist specializing in organic food production. She received her BSc in Crop Science from the University of Guelph and her MSc in Sustainable Agriculture from the University of London. A CUSO volunteer in Thailand in the early 90's, Arzeena has also worked in India, Bangladesh and Jamaica on agricultural development projects. Arzeena has lectured at the University of British Columbia and teaches adult education courses for the City of Richmond, North Shore Recycling Program, Van Dusen Gardens, and the City of Vancouver. She is currently working with the Richmond Fruit Tree Sharing Project, City Farmer, and the Richmond Food Bank.
