Nina Parr, BEd, MA, is a program leader with Language Programs at UBC Extended Learning. She manages program planning and delivery, curriculum development, and pedagogical support for language programs. She also manages the summer Institut de Français à UBC.
Nina is an experienced language teacher, and has worked with adult, undergraduate, and secondary students. She continues to be involved with the public school system by attending and presenting at teaching conferences. She supports the professional development of BC teachers by facilitating bursary funding to attend the Institut de Français à UBC.
An accomplished musician, she wrote her master's thesis in French literature on the relationship between musical representation and bilingual identity in literature, and has presented on the use of music in the language classroom.
